The organizers have put together a 6 stage course that includes all of the major sites in Cappadocia, from the awe-inspiring rock formations of the aforementioned park to the UNESCO world heritage site of Goreme, to the lesser known gems like Uchisar and Ortahisar. The run is well worth the trouble, though participants do need to be healthy enough to endure the grueling schedule.

Cappadocia Festivals; The Runfire Cappadocia running festival is a high challenge sports event. The event starts in Uchisar and runs through the Ihlara valley and Goreme valley. During the course of the race, participants stay in camps at different points. There is a health certificate needed for participation. The Runfire Cappadocia is a four-day event.
